I use an integrated approach curated to your needs that supports your goals, capacity, and engagement. Modalities I use often include ACT, CBT, Emotion-focused therapy, Interpersonal Process Therapy, and Feminist therapy.
I prefer video appointments and offer phone as a backup in case we are having technical difficulties.

Life happens, so there may be times when a scheduled appointment will not work. I ask for a 24-hour notice when canceling an appointment. If you are unable to provide this notice, I charge a $100 late cancellation fee, which I can waive if you reschedule within 6 days of the original appointment.
Excellent question, and like most answers from a therapist, I’ll say: it depends. Fit can sometimes be felt instantly or take a few sessions. You may not know immediately if any therapist is right for you, because being human is a subjective, varied experience.
However, some things to pay attention to: How comfortable do you feel? Do you feel understood and challenged? Do you feel aligned with your values? Have you felt able to share feedback?
I have two (very sweet, friendly, and clingy) dogs who frequently make guest appearances at my appointments. Here are Ollie and Poe so you can get acquainted:
